Removal and installation the cylinder head cover
Remove the engine cover. Remove the upper boost air pipe "1" with connecting hose "2" "arrows".
Important: Coolant hoses and fuel lines remain connected.
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the boost air pipe. Remove the upper timing belt cover by releasing the clamps. After unscrewing the cylinder head cover screws in the sequence "11-1", remove the cover.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions, and the following instructions must be followed. Clean the sealing surface on the cylinder head cover and on the cylinder head from residual sealing agent using a chemical seal remover. Degrease the sealing surfaces. Apply a small amount of [mark] to both edges of the bearing cap and cylinder head sealing surfaces (arrows) at the front and rear (diameter approx. 5 mm) sealing agent AMV 174 004 01 "arrows".
Important: If damaged, replace the cylinder head cover gasket and cylinder head cover screws.
Tighten the cylinder head cover screws in sequence "1-11" to a torque of 10 Nm.
