Installing a rubber-metal support into a beam bracket
1 – protrusion on the support; 2 – mark on the bracket
The rubber-metal support can be replaced without removing the front suspension beam bracket from the vehicle.
1. Remove the front suspension arm from the vehicle (see subsection 7.2.4).
2. Using a puller, press the old support out of the bracket.
3. Press the new support into the bracket. In this case, protrusion 1 should coincide with mark 2 on the bracket.

Caution! When pressing in, lubricate it only with G294 421 A1 grease. All other lubricants may cause damage to the bearing.
4. Install the front suspension arm onto the vehicle.
