2. If necessary, remove the air filter (see subsection 4.1).
3.Remove wire 2 (see figureHydraulic power steering components) power steering sensor from three holders 4.
4. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely.
5. Remove the left front wheel.
6. Remove the front left wheel arch liner.
7. Remove the mudguard.
8.Press the spring latch and open the holder 1 (see figureRemoval the wire and lines from the holder). Remove wire 4 of the sensor from it.
9.Disconnect block 4 (see figureConnecting pads of the pump unit) sensor wires from the pump unit.
10. Unscrew two bolts 7 (see figure Mounting the steering gear on a car (with amplifier)) fasteners with internal hexagons and disconnect sensor 6 from the steering gear.
11. Replace gasket 5 regardless of its condition.
12. Install the power steering sensor in reverse order.
