Attention! Refuel the power steering hydraulic system only when the engine is cold.
Attention! Do not reuse fluid from the system: it is contaminated, saturated with air and moisture.
Attention! Use only fluids recommended by the manufacturer.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «-» battery. Parts of car battery holder (bigger size) closes the receiver cover. In this case, remove the battery and its holder (see subsection 10.2).
2. Remove the air filter if necessary (see subsection 4.1).
3. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle.
4. Unscrew the cover of the receiver and fill it with working fluid up to mark A (see fig. Receiver cover with liquid level indicator).
5. Connect wire to terminal «-» battery (if the battery is removed, connect it with auxiliary wires) and install the removed air filter.
6. Set the wheels to the position corresponding to the rectilinear movement of the car, and unscrew the receiver cover.
7. Turn the steering wheel ten times from one extreme position to another.
Attention! It is forbidden to hold the steering wheel in the extreme position for more than 10 s.
8. Check the liquid level in the receiver and, if necessary, add liquid to mark A.
9. Slightly screw on the cover of the receiver. Never tighten it tightly.
10. Start the engine, let it run for 10 seconds and stop.
11. Check the liquid level in the receiver and, if necessary, add liquid to mark A.
12. Repeating the previous three operations, ensure that the liquid level in the receiver stops dropping and stops at mark A.
13. Start the engine, turn the steering wheel ten times from one extreme position to another and stop the engine.
14. Check the liquid level in the receiver and, if necessary, add liquid to mark A. Screw the receiver cap tightly.
15. Install the battery and air filter if removed.
