Designations of the contacts of the connecting blocks

a – CAN-BUS Low;

a – CAN-BUS Low;
b – CAN-BUS High;
in - reserve;
g – "15";
d – "30";
e – "mass";
1 – CAN-BUS connection block;
2 – power supply connection block

1. Check the condition of the fuses and the battery voltage, which should be at least 11.5 V.

2. Remove the front left wheel arch liner.

3. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

4.Disconnect the CAN-BUS connector 2 with wires (see figureConnecting pads of the pump unit) and power connector 3.

5. Reconnect the wire to the "-" terminal of the battery and turn on the ignition.

6. Connect the voltmeter to the "g" terminals (see the figure Designations of the contacts of the connecting blocks) pads 1 CAN-BUS bus and the vehicle ground. The voltage should be approximately equal to the battery voltage.

7. Connect the voltmeter to contacts "d" and "e" of power connector 2, and then to contacts "d" and "ground" of the vehicle. In these two cases, the voltage should be approximately equal to the battery voltage.

8. Turn off the ignition.

9. Connect the ohmmeter to the contacts "g" of connector 1 of the CAN-BUS bus and the vehicle ground. The device should show infinity.

10. Connect the ohmmeter to the contacts "d" of the power connector 2 and the vehicle ground. The device should show infinity.

11. Connect an ohmmeter to the "e" contacts of power connector 2 and the vehicle ground. The resistance should be around 0.

(The original can be viewed on: skodabook.ru)

12. Connect an ohmmeter to contacts "d" and "e" of power connector 2. The resistance should be approximately 60 ohms.

13. If the results of any of the tests do not match the specified values, check the connectors and wires of the corresponding circuits.

Caution! Connect the connectors with wires only when the "-" terminal of the battery is disconnected.
