Remove the middle panel (panel of the protruding part of the floor between the front seats) Remove the instrument panel. Remove the left footwell air vent. Disconnect plug connector "1".
Carefully release the wiring harness "3" from the cable clamps on the actuator motor for controlling the mixing (temperature) dampers. Press the lock "4" slightly forward, tilt the holder with the actuator motor for adjusting the position "2" in the direction of the "arrow" and pull it out of the front clamps. Pass the holder with the actuator motor for position adjustment through the hole between the support and the air conditioner carefully in a downward direction. Remove the position control actuator motor from the holder. To do this, press the clamps in the outward direction of the "arrow", while simultaneously pushing the actuator motor for adjusting the position out of the mount.
Installation
Important: As a spare part, the actuator motor for controlling the mixing temperature flap is adjusted to the "flap closed" position.
Press the position control actuator into the holder. Use a marker to mark the upper "4" and lower "3" limiters of the toothed sector "2" on the body.
Adjust sector gear "2" in the direction of the arrow to the lower limiter "3." The short side surface of the tooth of the position adjustment actuator "1" should be marked with a marker "arrow A." The gullet between the shorter teeth of sector gear "2" should be marked on the side with a marker "arrow B." After installing the position adjustment actuator holder in the front mount, place it on the housing so that the tooth "arrow A" enters the gullet between the teeth "arrow B.".
Action check
Install the plug connector on the actuator motor to control the mixing (temperature) dampers. Disconnect plug connector "1" from heater and air conditioner control unit "2". Apply battery voltage through the auxiliary wire from the measuring kit to contacts "13" and "16" of plug connector "1" and check the stroke of the actuator motor for position control.

Important: The actuator motor for position control must adjust the mixing valve during the above test (temperature) the damper without twitching to the upper "4" and lower "3" limiters.
If any malfunction occurs, stop testing immediately, remove the actuator motor for position adjustment together with the holder again, and repeat the installation. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions. If the actuator motor for position control has been changed, it is necessary to reset it to its original position.
