Using a blunt screwdriver, press in the plastic protrusion "arrow" of the air distributor flap adjustment device "2" and pull out the flexible shaft "1".
Installation
Important: The flexible shaft must be installed on the adjustment device and on the heater control device in only one single position. During installation, it is necessary that the adjustment device and the rotary control button on the heater control device are in a certain relative position. Otherwise, the heater would not operate properly.
Place the flexible shaft onto the air distribution flap adjuster until it locks into position. Using the flexible shaft, set the windshield air flap to the vertical (open) position. Turn the air distribution control knob on the heater control to the "windshield defroster" position. In this position, insert the flexible shaft into the heater control until it locks into place.
