Remove the wheel.
Important: Mark the friction linings when removing them (internal, external), which will be used again. They must be reinstalled in the same location, otherwise braking action will be uneven! When replacing the friction linings, do not unscrew the brake hose from the disc brake caliper.
Disconnect the plug connector of the brake lining wear indicator (if the car is equipped with it). Remove caps "1".

After unscrewing both guide pins "arrows" from the caliper of the disc wheel brake mechanism, remove them.

After removing the caliper of the disc wheel brake mechanism "1", hook it with a wire in such a way that its weight does not exert any load on the brake hose and, thus, does not damage it. Remove friction linings "2" and "3" from the disc brake caliper.

Installation
Important: Before you begin to press the piston, you should drain the brake fluid from the expansion tank using a container to remove air. Only use alcohol to clean the disc brake caliper housing.
Clean the disc brake caliper. Press in the piston using a piston installation tool.

Important: Do not confuse the inner and outer friction linings. Follow the markings.
Place the friction linings with the white marking on the back side "piston side" onto the piston. Install the friction lining with the black three-jaw clip into the disc brake caliper housing.

Install the disc brake caliper from the bottom first. Place the disc brake caliper with friction linings onto the wheel hub bearing cap. The caliper journal of the disc brake caliper "arrow" must be located behind the guide cap of the wheel hub bearing!

Screw the disc brake caliper with both guide pins "arrow" onto the wheel hub bearing cover. Connect the plug connector of the brake lining wear indicator (if the car is equipped with it). Install the guide pin covers. Install the wheel.

Important: After any replacement of the friction linings, it is necessary to firmly press the brake pedal with the vehicle stationary so that the friction linings return to their working position. After replacing the friction linings, you should check the brake fluid level and top up if necessary.
Tightening torques
