Important: Repair of the speed sensor wire is carried out in the same way on vehicles with drum brakes as on vehicles with disc brakes.
Disconnect the battery. After unlocking the plug connector, disconnect it from the speed sensor. Remove the wire from the clips on the rear suspension and body. Remove the rear seat. Remove the lower trim (panel) of the C-pillar. Remove the body sill trim. Fold back the mat around the seat. After removing the rubber bushing, pull the speed sensor wire "2" into the vehicle. Disconnect the speed sensor wire between the crimped connection "arrow A" and the insulation "arrow B".

Installation
After pulling the new wire through, put on the rubber grommet. Strip the insulation from both ends of the wire using 6-7 mm wire stripping pliers. Twist both ends of the wire.
Important: The insulation at the ends of the wire must not be twisted together with the wires. It is absolutely necessary to use a red clamp with a cross-section of 0.5 mm/sq.
After placing the clamp on the ends of the wire, press it to both ends of the wire with wire clamp pliers.

Important: Heat the clamp from the middle to the edges until it is completely compressed and the glue begins to flow out. The hot air gun must be adjusted to the correct temperature according to the operating instructions. When heating the clamp, care must be taken to ensure that the hot air does not damage any other wires, plastic parts or insulating material.

After pressing the clamp, it is necessary to heat it with a hot air gun so that it compresses. Use the hot air gun from the wire harness repair tool kit.

If the wire was insulated before disconnection, it is necessary to wrap the connection point with yellow insulating tape or, accordingly, it is necessary to re-secure the wire with a cable clamp. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions. Install the body sill trim. Install the lower trim (panel) of the C-pillar. Install the rear seat.
Important: Follow the instructions for reconnecting the battery.
Connect the battery. Perform a vehicle system test using a diagnostic device.
