Disassembling and assembling the TRW power steering gear housing
Important: After a vehicle accident or if the front axle is damaged, the damaged parts must be replaced. Repair of the power steering gear housing is not provided. In case of complaints, the cause must be identified by means of pressure and tightness testing and by means of automatic control (self-diagnosis) or a diagnostic device. If the fault is in the power steering housing, then the power steering housing must be replaced. Welding and straightening work is not permitted on steering components. Use only original clamps and spring clips. To lubricate the rack, use only steering gear housing grease.
