Removal and installation a poly V-belt for vehicles without air conditioning
Removal the poly V-belt
Lift the engine casing on the sides - insoles - and remove it in an upward direction.
Mark the direction of movement of the poly V-belt. Loosen the screws securing the alternator. After attaching the "MP1-203 (3297)" alternator spring lever, secure it by installing the "arrow" pin and pressing the alternator downward in the direction of the "arrow." The loosened poly V-belt should be removed from the alternator pulley.
Installing a poly V-belt
Important: Before you begin installing the poly V-belt, you must check the strength of the installation of all units (alternator and air conditioning compressor). Check the ease of movement of the pulleys and tension roller. When installing a poly V-belt, it is necessary to observe the correct direction of its movement and the correct installation of the belt on the pulleys. The alternator must be pressed using alternator tension lever "MP1-203 (3297)". Fit the V-ribbed belt onto the crankshaft pulley.
While holding the alternator down, put on the belt. By loosening the alternator, the belt tension is adjusted to the required value. After the poly V-belt is installed, with the alternator fastening loosened, crank the engine several times using the starter (about 10 turns).
Important: Before tightening the alternator screws, do not move the alternator or press on the poly V-belt. Tighten the lower alternator bolts first, then the upper alternator bolts, to 23 Nm. Install the engine cover.
Removal and installation a poly V-belt for vehicles with air conditioning
Important: Before you begin removing the poly V-belt, you need to mark the direction of its movement. Reversing the direction of movement of a used belt can cause it to become unusable. When installing a poly V-belt, you should ensure that the belt is correctly positioned on the pulleys.
Lift the engine casing along the arrow sides and remove it in an upward direction.
Remove the upper air intake pipe "1" with the connecting hose "2". Mark the direction of rotation of the poly V-belt.
For engines with letter designations BNM, BNV
Release the poly V-belt by turning the tension roller in the direction of the arrow.
Lock the tension roller with the limiting bolt "T10060A".
For engines with the letter designation BMS
Use a wrench to tilt the tension roller in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the poly V-belt.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions.
