If play is detected in the electric motor bearings or deformation of the impeller blades, replace the fan, since the electric motor operates at a very high armature rotation speed and any imbalance can lead to destruction of the fan (usually at the most inopportune moment).

1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.

2. By pressing the latch tongue, disconnect the block 2 (see figure Connecting blocks of the fan switch sensor and the fan motor) with fan motor wires.

3. On models with air conditioning, press the locking tab and disconnect connector 5 (see figure Radiator of the cooling system) with the air conditioner fan motor wires.

4. Unscrew the four screws 8 securing the fan shroud 7 to the radiator 1.

5. Carefully remove the casing 7 together with the fan.

6. Remove block 5 with fan motor wires from bracket 14 on the fan casing.

7. Remove the 12 wire bracket from the blower motor.

8. Unscrew the three mounting screws and remove bracket 11 together with fan 13.

9. On models with air conditioning, the additional fan 10 is removed in the same way as the main fan.

10. Unscrew the three mounting nuts and remove fan 13 from bracket 11.

11. Install the fan in reverse order.
