Fitting the brake pads of the FS II type brake
1 - support; 2 - external brake shoe; 3 - internal brake shoe
Brake pads and discs type FS II (see fig. Front brake type FS II) are replaced in the same way as the pads and discs of the brake mechanism type FS III (see subsection 9.5.1). The only difference is the marking of the brake pads: pad 3 (see fig. Fitting the brake pads of the FS II type brake), the friction lining of which has a smaller friction area, should be on the inside (piston side), block 2 is installed from the outside, the friction lining of which has a larger friction area.
Nominal lining thickness (with base), mm | 19,6 |
Minimum allowable friction lining thickness (with base / without base), mm | 7,0/ 2,0 |
Nominal thickness of the brake disc, mm | 18 |
The minimum allowable thickness of the brake disc, mm | 15 |
Tightening torques, Nm
Wheel bolts | 120 |
Guide pins | 25 |
Brake disc mounting screw | 4 |
