Unscrew screws "3" and "5". Pull out holder "1" with the actuator motor to adjust the position of the damper forward to such an extent that the teeth do not engage with each other. Pressing the outer clamps of the holder "1" at the top down towards the "arrows", remove the holder together with the actuator motor to adjust the position of the damper.

Remove the actuator motor for adjusting the position of the fresh and circulated air flap from the holder. To do this, you need to press the "arrow" clamps outward, while simultaneously pushing the actuator motor for regulating the position of the fresh air flap out of the clamps.
Installation
Important: The recirculation/fresh air flap actuator "V154" is adjusted to the "recirculated air" position as a replacement part. If necessary, connect the flap actuator to the wiring harness and move it to the "recirculated air" position. Heater and A/C flap actuator: note different versions.
Install the actuator motor for regulating the fresh and circulated air damper into the holder. After installing the holder with the actuator motor for adjustment in the upper part of the housing, lock it. It is also impossible for the gear teeth to mesh with each other. The following operations must be performed simultaneously. After closing the fresh air damper, keep it closed. Install the actuator motor for regulating the position of the damper in the housing so that the 1st tooth "A" of the gear wheel "2" of the actuator motor for regulating the position of the damper enters the cavity between the 1st and 2nd teeth of the gear sector "1" of the fresh air damper. The circulating air damper must be set in such a position that the "arrow" marks on gear "2" and on sector "3" of the circulating air damper enter each other.

Install the actuator motor to control the damper position completely into the housing. Screw in the flap position control motor bracket (1 Nm). After connecting the plug connector to the flap position control motor, turn on the ignition and check the operation of the flap position control motor for fresh and recirculated air by pressing the recirculated air button.
Caution: During the test run of the actuator motor to adjust the position of the fresh and circulating air flap, do not interfere with the kinematics of the gear wheels or flaps. It is necessary that the fresh air damper and the circulating air damper be adjustable without jerking up to the end positions. If the kinematics is blocked, it is necessary to immediately turn off the ignition, remove the actuator motor for adjusting the position of the damper with the holder and repeat the installation again. If the actuator motor for position control has been changed, then it must be reset to its original position. If the damper adjustment is normal, then continue the installation in the reverse order of actions.
