1Parking brake/brake fluid level indicator "K7"
2ASR "K86" alarm, ASR and ESP "K155" alarm
3Brake lining wear indicator "K32"
4ABS device alarm "K47"
5Tire pressure indicator "K220"

Brake lining wear indicator "K32" ("3")

If the brake lining wear indicator "K32" ("3") does not go out after the ignition is turned on, or if it lights up while the vehicle is moving, the following may be the causes of the malfunction: a - the brake linings may be worn out. Check the brake linings on the front and rear axles; if the brake linings are worn out, they must be replaced. b - faulty cable wiring - Electrical equipment diagrams and location.

ABS device indicator "K47" ("4")

If the ABS indicator "K47" ("4") does not go out after the ignition is turned on and after the self-test is completed, the following may be the causes of the malfunction:
  • a - supply voltage is less than 11 V,
  • b - presence of a fault in the ABS device.
  • c - after the last start of the car, a malfunction of the speed sensor appears from time to time (sporadic). In this case, the speed sensor is faulty. The ABS indicator "K47" goes out automatically after the vehicle is started and reaches a speed exceeding 20 km/h.
  • d - connecting wire from the instrument panel to the ABS control unit "J104" (data cable) torn off.
  • e - the instrument panel is faulty.

Caution: If fault "b" occurs in the ABS system, the ABS system is disabled, but the standard braking system remains fully functional.

Caution: If fault «b» occurs in the ABS system,…

ABS device indicator "K47" ("4") and parking brake system/brake fluid level indicator "K7"

ABS device indicator «K47» («4») and parking…

If the ABS indicator "K47" ("4") and the parking brake system/brake fluid level indicator "K7" ("1") are on or flashing, the following may be the causes of the malfunction: a - the parking brake system lever is tightened (the indicator is on), b - brake fluid level too low (the indicator light flashes), c - there is a fault in the wire between the instrument panel and the contact (switch) warning signal for an emergency drop in the brake fluid level "F34". If the ABS indicator "K47" ("4") and the parking brake/brake fluid level indicator "K7" ("1") are illuminated, this means that the ABS and EBV systems are faulty (electronic brake force distribution of the rear wheels). The altered action of the braking system must be taken into account.

Caution: After the ABS indicator "K47" and the parking brake/brake fluid level indicator "K7" come on, the rear wheels may lock prematurely when braking.

ABS indicator "K47" ("4"), parking brake system/brake fluid level indicator "K7", ASR indicator "K86" ("2") and ASR and ESR indicator "K155" ("2")

If the ABS indicator "K47" ("4") and the parking brake system/brake fluid level indicator "K7" ("1") go out, and the ASR indicator "K86" ("2") or the ASR and ESP indicator "K155" ("2") light up, then the causes of the malfunction may be the following:
  • a - the malfunction concerns only ASR and ESP respectively,
  • b - ASR is switched off by the ASR switch "E132" or by the ASR and ESP switch "E256".
  • c - ASR and ESP, respectively, are in the control range (blinking frequency - 3 times per second).
  • d - short circuit to the positive pole in the ASF "E132" switch or, respectively, in the ASR and ESP "E256" switch (after approximately 5 minutes the alarm goes out).

Tire pressure indicator "K220" ("5")

Tire pressure indicator «K220» («5»)

Tire pressure indicator "K220" ("5") is on: Check the air pressure in the tires. Inflate the tires to the specified air pressure. Perform installation in the original position. Setting to initial position: Ignition on. Press the tire pressure monitoring system switch "E226" "arrow" for more than 2 seconds.

Tire pressure indicator «K220» («5») is on: Check…

The button is located on the center panel to the left of the parking brake lever. If the tire pressure monitoring system switch "E226" is pressed, the tire pressure warning light "K220" in the instrument panel lights up. The reset position is confirmed by an audible signal. Turn off the ignition. After turning the ignition back on, the tire pressure indicator "K220" no longer lights up.

The tire pressure indicator "K220" flashes: Check the air pressure in the tires. Inflate the tires to the specified air pressure. The ignition is on. Press the tire pressure monitoring system switch "E226" "arrow" and the ASR/ESP switch "E256" or the ASR switch "E132" simultaneously for more than 2 seconds (switch assembly location: in the middle of the instrument panel to the left next to the heater control device). If the tire pressure warning light "K220" continues to flash: Perform "Guided Fault Finding" with the diagnostic tool.
