Important: When performing the following work, ensure that no brake fluid comes into contact with the longitudinal beam or the gearbox. Pre-filling of the system is not necessary.
Before disconnecting the battery in Q-cars with a car radio equipped with an anti-theft anti-jamming code, you need to know this code. With the ignition off, disconnect the wire connecting the battery terminal to the ground (body) of the vehicle. Remove the battery and battery holder. Remove the air filter. Connect the device for filling the hydraulic brake drive and for bleeding air from it. After inserting the air bleed hose "A" onto the clutch release drive slave cylinder "arrow", open the air valve. Fill the system with brake fluid under pressure of 0.2 MPa.
Leave to drain for approx. 100 cm3 of brake fluid until air bubbles stop appearing. Close the air bleed valve. Press the clutch pedal 10-15 times from stop to stop. Open the air valve. Fill the system with brake fluid at a pressure of 0.2 MPa. Allow it to drain for approx. 100 cm3 of brake fluid. Close the air bleed valve. After completing the air bleeding process, press the clutch pedal several times. Disconnect the air bleeder.
Repair of the clutch release mechanism
1 - Gearbox; 2 - Ball joint, 25 Nm; 3 - Oil seal for the drive shaft, installed in the guide sleeve pos. 4, fill the space between the working edges of the ring with sealing grease "G 052 128 A1"; 4 - Guide sleeve with O-ring, with sealing ring for the drive shaft, the O-ring is secured on the guide sleeve; before starting removal, remove the clutch release lever item. 7, lubricate the bearing area of the release clutch with consistent grease; 5 - Spring, secured to the clutch release lever; 6 - 18 Nm; 7 - Clutch release lever, remove and install together with the clutch release bearing; 8 - Clutch release bearing, do not wash the clutch bearing, just wipe it, replace the worn bearing, lubricate the bearing surfaces on the clutch release lever with grease; 9 - Clutch release drive slave cylinder; 10 - 20 Nm; 11 - Mounting bolt
