Assembly diagram of the installation of the wheel, shock absorber strut, propeller shaft and brake FS-II
Important: It is not permissible to carry out welding or corrective work on the load-bearing and guide parts of the front wheel suspension. Self-locking screws and nuts must always be replaced. Rusty bolts or nuts should always be replaced.
1 - Shock absorber strut; 2 - Cardan shaft with constant velocity joint; 3 - Washer; 4 - Screw with a cylindrical head and an internal hexagon in the head. Replace after each removal. After tightening all screws first with a torque of 10 Nm, tighten them crosswise with the final tightening torque: Screw M8 x 48 = 20 Nm + 90°. Screw M10 x 52 = 50 Nm + 45°; 5 - Brake disc with internal cooling; 6 - Wheel mounting bolt, 120 Nm; 7 - Hexagonal nut, 50 Nm + 45°. Replace after each removal. Do not lubricate the outer joint thread of the drive shaft with grease; 8 - Screw, 4 Nm; 9 - Friction lining (segment); 10 - Disc wheel brake support. When working on the front suspension, do not disconnect the brake hose. Hang it with wire or other similar method; 11 - Hexagon socket head cap screw, 25 Nm. M8 x 49; 12 - Hexagon socket head cap screw, 25 Nm. M8 x 59; 13 - Air duct; 14 - Screw, 10 Nm; 15 - Wheel hub with wheel hub bearing. For vehicles with ABS, the pulse sensor sensor disc (pulse ring) built into the wheel hub. The wheel hub and wheel hub bearing form one single part; it is gapless and does not require maintenance; cannot be adjusted or repaired. Touch disc (pulse ring) ABS devices cannot be changed independently. Replace after each removal, when removing the wheel hub with the wheel hub bearing it becomes unusable; 16 - Screw, 10 Nm; 17 - Protective sheet; 18 - Nut, 20 Nm + 90° replace after each removal; 19 - Steering linkage and steering rod end; 20 - Wheel hub bearing cap; 21 - Nut, 60 Nm + 90° replace after each removal; 22 - Screw, replace after each removal. The conical end of the screw should point in the direction of vehicle travel; 23 - ABS speed sensor; 24 - Hexagon socket head cap screw, 8 Nm for ABS speed sensor; 25 - Nut, 40 Nm; 26 - Connecting rod
