Attention! When bleeding the rear brakes on non-ABS models, periodically move the pressure regulator lever.
1. Check the level and, if necessary, add brake fluid to the reservoir up to the MAX mark.
2. Clean the air release valve of dirt and remove its protective cap.
3. Put one end of the rubber hose on the valve, immerse the other end in a clean transparent container partially filled with brake fluid (the end of the hose must be immersed in the liquid).
4. The assistant should sharply press the brake pedal 4-5 times and leave the pedal depressed.
5. Loosen the air release valve 1/2-3/4 turn. The old one will start to flow out of the hose (dirty) brake fluid. In this case, the brake pedal should move smoothly to the stop.
6. As soon as the liquid stops flowing out, wrap the air release valve, after which the assistant should release the pedal. Air bubbles will be visible in the liquid flowing from the hose.
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until no more air bubbles come out of the liquid. Constantly monitor the fluid level in the reservoir, preventing it from falling below the MIN·mark, and add new brake fluid if necessary.
8. If necessary pump over other brake mechanisms and a coupling drive.
9. On models with ABS, make a test drive, during which the ABS should work at least once.
